I believe the edelbrock 3-point stb for tbi car works, IF, you don't have the AC compressor on the driver side. My 84 does, so I went with a 2 point Jamex, but they are no longer made. There may be other alternatives.

Many members have been waiting for Spohn (or someone) to fab a STB for carbed cars with the AC on the driver's side--so far nothing. I'd buy in the drop of a hat.

It will certainly fit with an open element, though I'm not sure if it'll fit with the single or dual snorkel box. Check this link for a ton of pics:

I have a carberated '84 t/a I used a MAC strut tower brace. Had to grind about 1/4 inch off of the flange on the air filter snorkle.

There is a Group Purchase for MAC products from FASTTOYS.NET. on right now. Check out the GP board or PM me for STB price.(we aren't allowed to post the discounted price online anywhere or we won't get the discount). I am getting a chrome one. Regular price is $99 so the discount is less than that.
Also Sub frame connectors as well.

The mechanic doing the sub frame connectors on mine had some trouble around the MAC catalitic converter. He ended up removing the heat shield from it.I haven't had any problems since the since the factory shield is still in place.
