it would look like someone kicked its ***.. with a huge tire bulge.. also check your backspacing.. 4.5" should be good.. use the
button to dig up pics from others with that tire

In my opinion it would look terrible, you can fit that size tire without raising the rear end up, just get the proper backspacing on your rims.
If that's what floats your boat though go for it.

That would look fan-freakin' tastic.
Look up "izcain" . See if you can find some pictures of his car, he runs a 295/65/R15 I think. My 275/60/R15's aren't that cool, that's for sure.
The tires raise the rear of the car, you don't need to raise the rear, then use taller tires.

well i dont think you'll need to raise the rear too much if at all to fit those tires if the rims are spaced right
but what you can do is run a stock camaro spring and put in a 4th gen rubber isolator. the 4th gen isolator is taller than the thirdgens. if it isnt as tall as you like, you probly could put in a spacer up top to gain additional spacers but i dont know how well it would work. probly need a metal spacer ring and weld it to top of the spring pocket on the body...then use the rubber isolator against that like stock.

FYI if it's 29" or taller, there might be rubbing issues unless you run air bags in the springs to stiffen the rear suspension. I run 275/60R15 and they fill out the wheelwell pretty well, but a 275/60 drag radial is even larger than the street tire.

That a fact? Why is that, I figured 275/60R15 is going to be the same size, is a drag radial measured differently than a normal radial tire?

well a 295/60 is a 28.9inch tire and i thought i read he was using a 295/50
this thread the guy has a 295/50 an it fits well... and the other guy in that thread has 295/65's and they fill the wheel well up. i'd definately try a 4th gen isolator and stock ride height spring. might give you another inch of clearance

Sonix~~drag radials are typically a little larger than typical street tire counterparts.
Orr89rocZ~~he said he wants a 295/60 which is 29" tall, you'd have to worry about bumps and the tire hitting the top of the wheel wells or the bump stop side. He should pull the springs and move the suspension up and down on a lift to see if it'll rub and where.
