Anything bigger than a 16" on a car looks ugly. It gives you no sidewall.

Well this is the Internet and we live in a free country to I'm going to give my opinion anyway. I think your car looks great the way it is. Anything bigger than 18s on a thirdgen look stupid. If you want big wheels go buy a '75 impala and lift it 6". You want to see pics of COOL cars with wheels that size, well good luck.

To say big wheels on a car looks stupid , is like saying all Lambos,Ferrari's and porshes look stupid..

They only look dumb if you have no side wall, I know lots of guys who have sweat looking 1st gen camaros that look bad *** and have up to and excedding 1000 HP

sure, i dont really understand that one. and yes overly big wheels on a car does look very stupid. there was a guy here flaunting his 22 or 24 wheels, i dont remember which ones, and it looked stupider than hell but he thought they were the greatest looking things in the world. to each his own i guess.

THe new corvetts have 18s and 19s and look awsome..

I agree there is limits, but big wheels on the right car do look good, 20s might be a little too big for a camaro, but 18s and 19s look great! It really dempends on the car and the perticular wheel!

I saw a cutless with 32s.. YA THATS DUMB... im just looking for a more aggressive look not a GETTO look..

Re: Need Pics of your Wheels 18s,19s and 20s only

Man, there is nothing wrong with the wheels you have now - in fact, your car looks pretty darn good! I can understand wanting to try a new look, but 19s or 20s is just dumb - and yes, GHETTO.

Not just that, but it takes a crap all over any performance you might be trying for. (Look up the term 'unsprung weight' if you're curious.) Acceleration, braking, & fuel economy all suffer so that people can think that the owner is a "wannabe" donk driver..

But hell, we've all been young & done stupid things before.. Just try not to feel too bad when people point & laugh..

Re: Need Pics of your Wheels 18s,19s and 20s only

If I remember correctly there is a black Firebird somewhere in Europe/Asia with a twin turbo 502 that can do rolling burnouts on 20's, anything is possible and the "best" thing is always what the owner prefers (not what other people think).

Anyway, here's a pic of 18's

Re: Need Pics of your Wheels 18s,19s and 20s only

those are the 20's on the ta.. some pretty biased opinions here.

18 or 19's would look really nice on your car. i don't have any pictures on my computer but here is a link to a article when i had 18's. i wouldn't suggest 19's unless your over 400 rwhp. 18's are good for a street car, 19's can cause issues and they are double the price of 18's for a good rim/tire combo but the 19's really set the car off.

http://www.gmhightechperformance.com...o_z28_feature/

i have pictures of my z06 18's, more of the boze 18's and my boze 19's on my myspace and cardomain pages or you can search here and save some time.

Nobody asked for your opinion, stop trying to interject your opinion to make yourself feel important

Pics are worth a 1000 words..

Last time i ran the car i ran, 11.70 at 122mph in the 1/4 at 6psi that was before going to a smaller pulley and or adding an intercooler (im now at 9psi and in the process of installing the bypass valve and intercooler)My car weights 3950lbs with me in it along with about 200lbs of stereo equipent (2 10s large heavy box, large amp, and cap)

That calculates to 635hp at the flywheel or 555hp at the wheels at only 6 psi without an intercooler!

mine..for now....

I'm running an 18/20 combo....I know most of the guys have seen these wheels...and I wish i had 19's up front, but I don't, they aren't available in this style. Anyhow, some angles look great...other angles don't look so good, 2 inches is pretty drastic....

Re: Need Pics of your Wheels 18s,19s and 20s only

I've been thinking about big wheels lately. From what I've seen 18's look pretty hot, but imagine 19's with 15" disc brakes all around. It would stop like crazy!! It also depends on the rim, CCW makes some hot looking rims. Sorry for throwing in my opinion there...without any pics even, but I just thought a big brake argument would make big rims look better.

not bashing your style here, to each his own, but you do know that you are going to do nothing but hurt your 60' times with bigger wheels, right? hell, you're not even hookin great with 17s. You want power and a good 60', go 15s and get a real sidewall on there.
