What do you think happened?

I have a jackstand on the right side of my car so i needed to get the other one under the left side. I lower the car onto the stand when i hear a loud bang! I cant see anything, but im really worried right now.

Re: What do you think happened?

Well, if he put it on a stock Aarm the shape of the jackstand could have just placed itself on the Aarm and no damage done... or the lip could have bent, which sucks or he put it on the wrong spot compeltly like the floor board and he has a huge hole in the floor..... there are sooooo many possiblitlys that i think he needs to chime in and say where he placed it, Left and Right are not good for describing this...

I think you should jack it up and look...or we can spend the next few days guessing over the internet.....I'm not trying to be ****, but you can see it, we can't.

My guess...popped a muffler bearing.

Re: What do you think happened?

Another possibility is the jack rubbed against where it was touching the car.
