Crashed 1990 Iroc.

I bought a crashed 1990 Iroc yesterday and I was wondering is there any suspension mods I should transfer over to my 1992 RS?
I thought that a Iroc would perhaps have beefier sway bars for example.

sway bars are then only suspension part to check, just measure them, if they are larger, they are better, look for a wonderbar bolted under the front sway bar, that a good upgrade too

Is it a rear disk brake car?

Re: Crashed 1990 Iroc.

Sway bars, "wonder bar", steering gear; the WHOLE rear end, for its disc brakes, which will bolt RIGHT INTO your car, and require NO CHANGES WHATSOEVER except maybe speedo gears, since the factory used the same MC and prop valve for both in the 90-92 cars.

Front brakes will be the same.

Springs will be worn out, as always; unless they've been replaced. Although, rears are SO EASY to swap, especially while swapping rear ends (they're out anyway, it's just a matter of which ones you reach over and pick up when you're re-assembling your car) that you might get some slightly better worn-out ones than the worn-out ones you have now.

Put new bushings and end links in with the sway bars. Get the Energy Suspension ones hanging on cards in the "Performance" aisle at VatoZone, or get them from a board sponsor, or whatever.

I was gonna ask for the parking brake cables...
But, yeah, keep the rear and all that stuff from the car. There is a very slight chance that the front brakes are 1LE. If so, keep them. They'll be bigger than your stock front.

It might also have an alum driveshaft and the alum spare tire. Check the shocks, struts and strut mounts in condition as opposed to those on your '92, it may just have something aftermarket on it.
