will 4th gen 17" TA wheels fit?
Im looking to retrofit the 1999 30th anniversary TA 17" wheels (blue anodized ones with the steel lip) on my 87 iroc. i think they are the same size as any other 17 inch TA/camaro 4th gen wheel they are just different in color as far as i know (not in specs..) but please speak up if you know otherwise.
will these bolt right on? if not, what will need to be done to make them fit properly? will these wheels/tires affect the speedometer/tach readings??
thanks!

As Jay said you will need wheel adapters. Everything else (speedo, tach) will be fine.

Tach should be fine... but the speedo would change slightly. That all depends on if the size of the tire changes. A change in tire size (from stock) will result in a change in the speedo.

The tires are 275 40 zr-17. how 'off' will the speedometer reading be? and how would you go about fixing that issue so itll read the correct speed?

If you keep the tire height, which I believe the 275's are, you speedo shouldnt change. My speedo doesnt seem off at all if that makes a difference.

Yeah, im not sure about the calculations for the different tires... but there are numerous calculators online about what the conversion is in inches. As long as the original diameter is the same as the new diameter you will be fine. (width doesnt matter)

Re: will 4th gen 17" TA wheels fit?
I'm pretty sure that the diameter of the wheel and tire is only slightly off. My speedometer may be off a mile or two an hour at most.
If you want, you can get a 4th gen rear end instead of a pair of rear spacers. I did and got a positraction 3.23 disk brake rear from a 95 to replace my open traction 2.73 drum rear end. It was $300 plus pads and having the rotors rotated. Although, if you go this route, you'll need a disk/disk porportioning valve (I've read in several places that the 91-92s all had the disk/disk porportioning vavle after I bought one for mine). It's really not a bad deal when you consider a good set of spacers are $150 a pair.
