killing rear shocks to fast??
ok for some reason my car is killing every set of freaking shocks i put on it in about 3 months. the first set was a was some kyb's and i from what i read on here they are knowned to go out quickly so i ignored it. then i got some Monroe road warriors and those lasted a whopping 2 months. and my lastest set of gaberials deside to die in about 3 months. what is causing this?
the car is a 89 IROC and it was raced on occasion, but is that enough to kill the shocks that quickly. could it be saggy springs? it getting real bad now cuz i can clearly see where my bump stops are hitting my axle housing

Simple, stop buying cheap shocks and spend the money on a decent set. You wont have that problem after you do that.

Springs being unmatched to the shocks are what causes that. ie your springs are too worn.
Luckily gabriels/monroes and the like give a lifetime warantee, and they normally last a long time on a "normal" car.

Yep.
They are high quality shocks, so they will last longer than the cheapies, but their lifespan is drastically shortened when they have to "work" harder to keep up with saggy weak springs.
Get new springs, $80 for moog replacements - done deal.
