Which would be better?
Would I be better off with my Eibach pro kit and Koni yellows, or one of the Tokico Illumina shock/spring combo kits? Handling comes first, but ride counts for something as well.

Re: Which would be better?
i think for the money tokico is the way to go since it will be overall about 1/2 the price of the opposition you discussed. just my opinion.
+ i cant remember exact ratings but, the eibachs have an inanse spring rate, i was told the springs with the tokico's were much closer to ws6/iroc springs.

Re: Which would be better?
They don't have an insane rate. The Prokit is actually softer than the stiffest IROCs and only abou 14 lbs stiffer than the 2nd stiffest.
And if handling comes first, you don't really want a soft spring set. Besides, the KONIs are expensive for a reason. You get what you pay for really applies here.

Re: Which would be better?
I've already got the pro kit on the car, but I hear opinions that Eibach springs suck, etc. Have plain old sensatrac shocks now, but still very happy with the car's handling. Shocks/struts are my next suspension buy and want to try not to screw it up.
Buying Konis alone or the Tokico combo kit will cost roughly the same money.

I say KONIs. Better shocks. The springs are ok... could do better, you don't know if the Tokicos will be better than what you have.

Re: Which would be better?
I have Koni yellows on my car with Pro-kit springs and absolutely love them..
that is except for the nasty yellow color they are painted. I actually painted them flat black because I couldn't stand it.

Tokico springs and shocks on my car, very good working combo - no quality issues. I have no experience with the Koni/Ebaich combo, but this setup works just fine.

Re: Which would be better?
Well you can see the struts and even the rear shocks through my rims. There is alot of stuff that maybe only I can see but I do it for myself. Perfectionist... maybe, but that yellow is disgusting. LOL
Re: Which would be better?
Yea it's not the best color but it is distinctive to those that know.
