Do ya think they are worth it? Light scratchs there is some clear coat peelin on the edge of one wheel. 1 Center cap says camaro, 2 say Z28. the 4th is missing the sticker. Other than that they look great. I know they aren't nothin really cool but I'm trying to get away from my Monte Carlo wheels that were on the car when I got it. I don't mind that stock look.

Were they worth the 75 bucks?

It would seem so....

You paid that. By definition, they were worth that.

Whether they were worth that much, or more, or less, to somebody else, is another matter entirely. Not directly related to the matter at hand.

Those center caps, working and actually not falling off, are HARD to find. That by itself is a bit unusual. I have I don't know how many of those wheels, but no more than about 3 caps, because the rest all fell off driving down the road. So maybe you did good.

I just went out and tried to remove a center cap to look at them. I can pick the wheel up with it. On at least one.

Ummm..... so ..... ???

The way they fail, is the metal spring clip type ring thing, breaks out of the plastic, by the little molded hot-melt **** breaking off; and/or the entire cap bulges out and splits where the rings presses on it, because that's what it's continuously trying to do when installed; the tensile strength (or lack of it) is what ultimately is retaining (or not) the cap. A stupid design.

Has nothing to do with how strongly they're attached, RIGHT NOW. Trust me.... in time, you'll walk out to your car, and one will be gone, just out of the clear blue. Could be tomorrow, could be next year. And then another, and another, and the last. Just like everbody else.

I've got a set of the grey ones w/o center caps that are about to go to the scrap yard.......nothing wrong, but they don't seem to be worth anything around here.
