I have installed a 4th Gen rear and some aftermarket rims and tires.
I used new shocks and cleaned up the old springs. It has energy suspension troughout. The 4th gen rear didnt come with the rear swaybar. The passenger side rear is 3 fingers from the tire and the drivers side is 4 fingers.
What will fix this? taller springs, air shocks, sway bar? spring spacer?
I can get the rear swaybar in the JY cheap.

New springs. Don't bother with "taller". Get Moog CC635 (variable rate) or 5665 (constant rate). For a stock daily-driver type car, the CC635 is probably the better choice; but neither is "bad".
And of course, a sway bar. Look for one at least 22mm diameter.
Don't even think about "air shocks". The place on these cars that the shocks attaches to the chassis, is EXTREMELY weak; it eventually breaks out just from the flexing forces imposed on it by absorbing shocks. There's NO WAY it has the strength to hold up the weight of the car, and survive.
New shocks wouldn't be a bad idea though, just not air shocks.

It could be the lack of a rear swaybar, but I am thinking either the lower side shock or spring is bad, not installed right, or has a broken mount.
Thanks guys,
I will look into the broken mounts. How could i have installed them wrong, they only fit 1 way? The springs SOFA mentioned are $59 a pair at summit.
I will post some b4 and after pics when i get them in.

By what you have posted would I be correct in thinking that the lean occurred with the installation of the 4th gen rear?
If so then check the location of the spring mounts on the rear. It may be that one is bent or has been welded onto the tube in the wrong location. Also double check that the springs are properly seated onto the lower pads and the upper cushions.
RBob.

I will check that, but i didnt notice a problem till i put bigger wheels that stick out further. By lower pads you mean? mine just sit on metal plate with raised circle in the middle.

There is a "lower" pad on some cars, which is a thin rubber thing about the thickness of heater hose (in fact sometimes people substitute heater hose for it)
There is also an "upper" pad, which is about ¾" thick. You might want to make sure you have those in both sides, and that the springs are sitting correctly in them on both sides.
It is NOT the shocks, or anything to do with them. Shocks don't hold up the car. Same for the sway bar.

If you've got an O'reillys near you, they can sell you the Moog springs a little cheaper with no shipping.
ok i put on the new springs and no change in ride height or small lean. There are no rubber mounts on either end. I am going to do the sway bar next hopefully that will do it. If not has anyone used a spacer like on a lift kit?

the rear springs like sofakingdom says, have 3/4 inch isolaters up top in the spring tower/section on the body. you have to make sure they are aligned right and sitting in the cup right. else you will have one side higher than the other. There is also an "upper" pad, which is about ¾" thick. I would think now that a mounting point for the springs may be bent. Have you measured from each mounting point to the top of the spring perch. Haven't tried it myself back there but seems like there'd be enough room to stick a tape in.
Also sometimes the spacers get stuck up in the top. Perhaps one of them is stuck, the other missing? Or one is twisted so the spring's not indexed?

Ok back from the junk yard with the swaybar and the rubber spring bushings that were missing from mine. I also noticed foam rubber bumpstops on the donor car that my car is missing but they disintigrated when i grabed 1.
Thanks for the help guys.
