What do you think of this look? New wheels
Here's my new setup, Boyd Junk Yard Dogs with BFG G-Force Sports.
My rears are 17x10 with a 5.75 backspacing. They stick out a little too much for my liking, and I have about a 1/2 inch of clearance between the inner fender and the tire on the front of the tire (if you'd draw a horizontal line from center of rear wheel to door). How much does a rear end move around? Is a half inch of side to side clearance excessive?

I like those. Car looks good.
You can trim the inner wheel well lip for more clearance, but I'd have a auto-body shop do it. I had mine done for more clearance when I had the quater replaced.

Considering I'm not a big fan of chrome wheels, they look pretty good.

Well everybody seems to like 'em so far. They're actually polished aluminum. As for the house- not mine. I just live there.

They look great, thats the set I've been wanting for awhile now but just can't get the cash up. I think the only time you have to worry about rear wheel contact is if you catch a bunch of wheel hop trying to burn off some of that expensive rubber all at one time.

Re: What do you think of this look? New wheels
Nice car and wheels. I'm running 17x10 with 6.25" backspacing. I haven't done any modes to the fender wheels. I have clearance all around but it is tight. I can get my fingers around the rims and the bumpstops.

Re: What do you think of this look? New wheels
No I'm not using spacers. The back wheels had to be made but the fronts are a size and backspacing that are off the shelf. They don't rub, the backs have at least a half inch of clearance at their tightest point.
