Racecraft k-member

Well, I just got back home, unpacked it and let me tell you, this piece is FREAKING AWESOME . I had the k-member custom built by Racecraft (They modified the upper spring perch to fit my air ride setup) and this is truly a work of art. The a-arms are from UMI and they fit like a glove.

Racecraft finally gave UMI a-arms owners the possibility to bolt them to a tubular crossmember. I ordered the road race version with LSX mounts, they even provided the engine mounts! 100$+ saved from buying f-body mounts and putting urethane bushings in them.

The finish is awesome, and the packaging was top notch. The box was padded with 2" thick padding all around.

Im gonna mount it to the car tonight and see how everything lines up.
It is SO christmas for me today, honestly I wasnt expecting such a great piece.

Re: Racecraft k-member

I think now that I have seen your pictures I would have gone with the road race version. I was worried the extra brace would interfer with what I was trying to accomplish. Going by your pictures I think everything would have cleared.

Matt redesigned the 2 curved braces for them to clear the bags, give them a call or e-mail, Im sure they can design you one to your application!

Merry Christmas as well,. Never heard anthing from them again, you think after all the money I spent there they would have dione something. I was going to get them to back half the car, but after that, I just could not trust them, so they lost out on 12,000.00

Is that air bag set up the standard Air Ride Technologies bag in their 3rd gen kit? I'm looking to go with their bag set up and I was concerned I could not use an aftermarket K Member.
