i am a 4th gen guy and my third gen knowlege is limited but a friend told me yall where blessed with 22mm rear sway bars stock if so what years/ models came with them? Also from what I have read rear suspension parts are interchangable from 82-02 please excuse my ignorance if I am wrong. Also this is prob the wrong section for this question but if 22mm sway bars did indeedcome stock does anyone have one for sale? if so please email me as I probably wont check this site very often. ratletrap88@yahoo.com

stock 3rdgen and 4thgens have identical rear suspensions...
springs, shocks, panhards, lca, TQ arms etc. will all interchange from 82 - 02 model years - so a 3rdgen rear sway bars will work for your 4thgen.... 3rdgens have bigger and smaller ones then the one you are looking for too... i just don't know what your plans are but i just thought id let you know case you didn't

jkris I will reply to your pm in a second. I am intending on drag racing my 4th gen but I want to stay away from the all out drag bars if possible and alot of guys are using 22 and 23 deep into the tens nicely but just for future reference what sizes does the 3rd gen have to offer?

The stock sizes for the ws6 firebirds and TA's were 24mm. I believe the 1le cars also got them. Don't quote me on that because i'm more experienced with the birds. I think regular z28s had a 22mm and base models 18mm, but once again don't quote me on that. I dont believe the fronts are interchangeable. That sucks too because mine is 36mm

I think that you can pretty much get every size between a 18 and a 24 in single digit incriments if you can find them. There is a complete listing sway bars somewhere on the site, but I can't find it ATM.

 

I have two 23 and one 24 I think. I'd be happy to get rid of

 

Also have one 30mm solid front,32mm solid front,two 34mm hollow fronts and the both front and rear off an 89 formula with complete suspention if any one is interested (not sure what bars are on the formula,havent measured yet)Oh! and two 19mm rears
