Rear sway bar endlink question
Just installed rear sway bar and I shortened the driver side endlink by roughly a 1/2 inch. I let the rear end all the way down(car supported by jackstands) and the bushings slightly shifted. When I jacked the rear end back up the driver side which is shorter seems to go right back to place but the passenger side is a little off. It doesnt look that bad but the top poly bushing that connects to the sway bar is slightly offset from the washer. Is this a problem? It seemed to look perfectly fine before I lowered the rear end. I will try and take some pictures tomorrow if needed. Thanks for the help.
If any one has pictures of rear endlinks installed to show how they suppose to look that would be awesome as well. Thanks again.

Re: Rear sway bar endlink question
Alright took some pictures to show what I was saying. First picture will be driver side which I believe to be fine. The rear end is slightly hanging down(not ride height) so that is why there is a little off as well. The picture were the bushing is slightly offset is the passenger side. The rear is hanging a little so it causes it a little more but even when I jack the rear end all the way up now it doesnt go back under the washer flush anymore. Is it overtightened? Or is it fine. Thanks again!

Re: Rear sway bar endlink question
Nah. both sides were tightened to 15 ft lbs. I just loosend the whole thing and started over and made sure it was centered and that the endlinks were in good alignment before I started to crank them down. All seems well after the second try lol Thanks for the help.

Re: Rear sway bar endlink question
AFAIK, Endlinks should be installed with the car at ride height to seat the nipple in properly. The end tabs of the swaybar should be level with the ground at ride height.. So if you have an altered ride height (lowering springs or sag), you should change the size of the spacer in the endlink so that it rides close to level.
Judging by the pics, they weren't level and/or at ride height when installed....
If the bushings of the link aren't centered the thing won't be as effective, will wear incorrectly, will be more likely to squeek, and may not be inserted to the hole in the swaybar/bracket correctly (which could wear the bolt, snapping the link).

Correct, all 4 wheels need to have pressure on them as if the car is sitting on the ground. The easiest way to do that is with ramps or a lift.

Re: Rear sway bar endlink question
that will work fine for the front.. but backing up the ramps will tear up the nose as it rubs on the ground..
Re: Rear sway bar endlink question
What you could do is put the front on ramps and then jack up the rear and put jack stands under the read axle when the car is level. All the weight of the car will then be on the suspension and not be suspended.
