Hi everybody.

I'm a new user (from Serbia) and I bought Pontiac Firebird GTA 5.7l few days ago. Can anybody tell me, what kind of fluid I need to buy for power steering? I'll buy Haynes and Chilton manual, but until that happen' , I need that information.

Thank you for your help. Is there any way to find out what kind/type of tranny is in my Pontiac? Only that I know is that it is automatic tranny with 4 speed

You'll find that the technical experitise available here,
is exceeded only by the quantity of gas-bags.

sorry , i could not help jumping in . when i was instructing students in acft. maint. , i always made it clear the only dumb/stupid question was the one that was not asked . good luck .

I thought you used power steering fluid? That is what I've used.

 

same here i've always used transmission fluid...... works excellent in my gta....
