why is there a notch in my spindles?
Anybody know why there is a notch on each of the spindles on my 85 IROC?

That’s for the washer, which has a tang on it.
The tang fits into the slot to prevent the washer from spinning.

Thanks for the reply. It doesn't look factory on mine. It looks like the lower A frame has a notch too. Are they all like that?

Are these notches on IROC's only, or are they on all third gen's?
