Last night i was out and driving and doin about 80 and had to hit my brakes really hard well my car slid to a stop thank god. And now when i drive i feel like my whole car is bounceing like vibrating really bad and when i brake i feel something pullsating againt the brake pedel so i pulled the rear brake drums and turned the wheel and i felt soemthing pushihg against it that woul stop it so i loosed my brakes so the tire spun better and now im still gettin these vibratins and it makes me sick to drive it now any ideas...

You slid? Meaning you locked them up? Prolly flat spotted the tires.

Like it or not, you still might have put a flat spot on them - just cuz you can't see it, doesn't mean it's not there. You can have your tires "trued", which will bring them back into round again. I had a set of tires on my truck that did the same thing - no big deal. I wouldn't go making comments about killing people when they're making suggestions to you and trying to help you - that won't get you much help at all.

Yea, I know... Just giving you some **** back
Just call around before you waste your time driving around. I lived in Jax, Fl. when I had mine done. I doubt that all tire shops would have the machine to do it. It's kinda like turning the rotors on your brakes - same effect - smoothes them out again. I really don't know what the cost would be, either - it was so long ago when I did my tires. I would guess that just about any shop that sells the larger truck tires could do it for you. Good luck. I can't really think of anything else you might have done that would cause that, but going from 80-0 could certainly affect it, since you said you locked 'em up.

Heheheh, you want to see a seriously flat-spotted tire? Go to:
http://users.erols.com/gcwestph/flatspot.jpg
and admire what happens when I lock up my right front brake at 115 mph!
Wore that sucker right down past the cords into the base rubber. Talk about a serious vibration!
This was at the end of the long straight on the road course at Memphis Motorsports Park last year. As soon as I let off the brake and started making the first turn, I knew this wasn't a good thing...

You might also check your rotors. With pedal knock-back symptoms you're talking about, you could've warped 'em. I know this is not what you're wantin' to hear, just something you might check out while you're spending all that money!

Heheheh, that's brake dust, lots of it!
Those wheels are an extra set I bought to have the road-race tires mounted on, and their finish is in better shape than my original wheels. All 8 wheels look much better w/out a nice layer of brake dust on them.
You can see more pix of my IROC on my page at:
http://users.erols.com/gcwestph/IROC.html
BTW, I prefer the gold color since it matches my black car with the single gold stripe.
