with this kit your 4th gen car can be set up for launching but you can also adjust them for autocross not the best but they are suppost to be pretty competive for most casual autocrosers. there are 12 settings and you can also adjust the front ride height. I know are cars have a strut and seperate spring but could you change it over with this kit from hal?

It might be possible but it would be a major pita because it "REQUIRES WELDING." I would just get the artmorrison kit www.artmorrison.com it is only like $575 and makes it coil over and 4" ride height adjustable. i also asked brian aka "madman" and he said that they are awesome kits. Plus, they just bolt in! 89PROCHARGEDZ had it on his car and sent me pics and it looks very good.

That is beatifull!! I take it i need to buy the shocks? That looks great and you save 40 pounds that will realy lighten up the front. Why havn't i heard of this it could work great for drag or put a good set of autocross shocks and your ready to go. I'am ordering it next week it should work nicely with the zr-1 wheels.

Art Morrison coil over kit is mostly for drag type suspensions. You will lose some of your conering ability,I would not recommed it if you plan on doing autocrossing.I have the 250lb springs on my car,I dont know if they offer any higher lb springs.I talked to them on the phone after I put the kit in.I thought personaly the lb rating was low,but they said drive it and see, they could give me a Higher Lb spring if needed.I was questioned about the shock towers being able to handle the stress,I know they will with a 250lb spring,I dont know with a autocross type spring in the 600lb range.ProchargedRoc,can you post my pics to let them see?Call them up and discuss your application, they will work on the street,I run Konis adjustable struts.

I will give them a call and see if i can use a higher spring rating. Maybe you could use HAL springs i know they have different spring rates.

I talked to art morrison and they said it won't effect handling at all. He said it will still handle as it does know. He also said the price has gon up to $820 from 575. Does anyone have any pics. Has anyone here used this kit on there 3rd gen hew can give me a real world honest opinion. I curently run the kyb gr2 struts up front and he did say i can use them. They only offer a 200lb spring for SB and a 250lb for BB. i want to still have my great handling so i need to decide what is the best setup. I just got my zr-1 rims on the back yokahama a032r 315-35-17 and my car handles incredible still waiting on the spacers up front thanks for your help.

They also told me that konis would not work i see that 89procharged uses konis. What kind of koni strut do you use red or yellow? Maybe if you used the yellows they would be stiff enough just a thought.
