Car pulls when braking

My car pulls very hard to the right when i brake at higher speeds ( >50 mph). When I am going very slow (10 mph) i dont notice the pull. Basically, the slower I apply the brakes, the less that the pulling occurs. So when i jam on the brakes the car pulls really hard, but when i go nice & easy on it, there's no pull.

I replaced the front pads and bushings, lubed all the sliding parts... with no improvement.

I was wondering what you guys might think could cause this. I was thinking it's the front brake hoses. I really have no other ideas.

Any help would be truly appreciated.

Joe

The rubber hoses(especially right side) collapse. I found that new hoses help. But the brained steel are the preventive measure.

Yes, I replaced both hoses...

It worked!

As a side note, i bled the brakes before I removed the old hoses. FYI, the bad line bleeds MUCH slower than the good line. That tells you you have a restriction of some sort.

Your help is truly appreciated, thanks again gents.

Joe

When you replace your hoses check your brake shoes, usually when something like this happens it means one side is taking twice the beating that the other side is.
Even if only one side needs replacement change both sides regardless.

Y'know, the answer could be as simle as checking the tires and making sure that the psi is even. Cuse if the psi isn't even then one tire has more grip than the other.
