I have them and they work great. Traction with drag radials is good enough to run sub 2.0 60' times with a fried posi. One of the best bang for the $$ out there.

I ran a 1.88 60" with no suspension mods...

I will kind of let you know what they do by the 16th of April.

I am getting the floor pans and transmission tunnel fixed and adding these components of Steve's on to my car:

LCA
LCA relocation brackets
Torque Arm
Panhard Rod
Sub-Frames...

I know I can't tell you what they do just for the LCA brackets.. But I will keep everyone updated on what the total package does.

I've got the same package on order as Raven, going to be playing with the welder over Easter.

Well, reading the replies no one has told me anything to convince me they work.

I read the first reply, but he didn't give me a 60 foot number before installing the relocators so it's to subjective to me. I understand they work great, but I'd like to hear his 60 foot time before and after.

Before: 2.04-2.15 secs
After: 1.89-1.98 secs

All passes on Nitto drag radials driving through one wheel.

I have Steve's Lca's and panhard rod on my Z28. My best 60 foot time before the mods were 1.92 60ft time. I was debating on going to the relocation brackes and or using the nitto 555'r's? I am running the BFG comp TA's and when i jump on the gas and it drops from second to first i spin until i let off the throttle. I just wanna hook up and ever after the lca's and panhard rod, i still just spin? Please HELP me Hook up!

If you look closely at the rear suspension, it's fairly easy to see why the lca relocation brackets work. They use the forward force from the axle upon acceleration to force the tires into the pavement. Without the brackets, especially on a lowered car, the opposite happens--the tires are actually pushed away from the pavement. They work. They also, IMO, help handling by increasing forward bite as you come out of the corner.

82 Camaro:

You've said that relocaion brackets help increase traction on the way out of a corner.

OK, so what about going into a corner. Do you know if they have any negative effect on lateral grip as you go round the corner before nailing it on the way out.

Also, what about straight line braking. I expect there's no differance there as the rears don't do much braking anyway.

Thanx

Haven't noticed any negative affects going into the corner. Or braking. It just puts the suspension geometry where it should be.

So do you think that i should spend my cash on lca relocation brackets or drag radials? I will eventually do both.
