Need help End links

Just swapping out end links today. 91 RS. No matter how I jack the car or put a load on it, It seems the end links are too short. I ran the part numbers, they are correct. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Need help End links

front or rear?

front, with the suspension loaded on both sides, they should work just fine, rear, depending on what length was there before, you may have to loosen the mounts on the axle, then put the links on, then retighten the axle mounts, with the suspension load of course.

Re: Need help End links

I've run into that before. You need to loosen the 4 sway bar-to-frame mounting bolts(2 per side) slightly so that you can pivot the bar down enough to get the nuts started. Once you have both sides started you tighten up those 4 bolts then torque the end links to spec.
