4th Gen wheels on 3rd gen
4th Gen wheels on 3rd gen
I post this in fear of Flame but here goes, I am looking at the WS6 4th gen wheels for my 89 GTA and I need to know what kind of spacers/problems I will encounter, is it possible or not worth it without other major things (rearend brake packages???) Is there anyone who put 4th on with just some spacers and have them stick out a bit or not at all (wheel specs are 17x9 in., 5 lug, 4-3/4" lug pattern. Same as 65211D, but polished finish!

$900 from SLP. you either need to get 4 spacers or 2 spacers and a 4thgen rear end. I'd do the rear end because you can get disk brakes, 3:42 gears, and a posi for $300. when you figure the price of spacers, its a great deal.

I put on the Spacers on the front and bought the 4th gen rear. I have a camaro and put on the SS wheels. I suggest buying the rear because its really a good deal considering which set of rear disc you have since I heard that certain year rear disc suck. MY only suggestion would be dont use a 285 on the back use the 275 because they hit sometimes when I bottom out but I will be rolling my rear wheel wells soon.
I have vette brakes spacers on the front and rear of my formula, along with the 16X8 99 firebird knock off rims sold by slp. It looks very good, much better than the deep dish turbos. They do not stick out any more than the stock 16X8 wheels - plus I can rotate my wheels normally

Will I lose turning with the 17x9 and 275 rubber???? the rear well I heard the same but they said I think 88 and back 89 - up was ok I guess. Will they stick out alot or alittle, I can live with alittle but if it's alot that I don't want. (no munster mobile for me
