I know I should get one before I do any damage to the car. Anyone have any good recomendations on which one to get. Perferably one that's not too expensive.
Let me know Thanks. Kj

yes go with the Spohn SFC's. I am ordering them soon. They are the best design I have seen and the best priced as well. They run along the rocker panela then have additional bracing that connects to the tranny area. all this for $155. If you want them in red or black then it is another $44. www.spohn.net

I WOULD RATHER PUSH A CAMARO THAN DRIVE AN IMPORT
1983Z28 350w/ edelbrock performer RPM power package , dynomax shorty headers, 700R-4 with shift kit, 750cfm carb, edelbrock 3" exhaust system, 16" IROC rims and ASCD SS hood.
future mods:
SLP headers, completely done over suspension, black paint with flames, NEW PLAN IN THE MAKING:
BUILD A WILD CHEVY 302 JUST LIKE THE ORIGINAL Z28 HAD

Spohn, I luv mine!
Also get the Rear LCA's and install them AFTER the SFC's rae welded in. The stock rubber bushings then to melt/burn during welding.

You melted the bushings? what kind of welder are you using??!!
I just made my own on Saturday. 1"X2"X.110" CR1018. 2 pieces 63" long. Cost me less than $50.
I ran them along the pinch weld, from 1/2" infront of the rear LCA mounting bolt up to the edge of the front wheelwell. We stitch welded it to the body with 6" beads 4" apart, then hammered the pinch weld over (less then 1/8") next to the box steel and welded on the opposite side from the body welds, we also welded the front and rear all the way around, and put a piece of box steel between the other side of the LCA mount and the rear subframe.
Only took me 4 hours from the time the car hit the lift to the time I was gettin' sideways on the 1-2 shift
Whatever kind you get, make sure you pull the seats and carpet up, and have someone sitting in the car with a fire extingusher!
I pulled the carpet up and noticed that the paint on the topside caught fire everywhere my buddy was welding. It was wierd, he'd start and it would burn, as soon as he stopped it would go out.
My car is a T-Top car with a 350/350 and it squeaked and rattled like a *****. Now its as quiet as my dad's '96 coup.
