It was time for a new strut tower brace so this is it. All 4130 and Tig welded.

Looks great Jerry. I bow to your fab. skills.

He changed the design twin turbo. There is no "plate" in the middle. Looks to me like there is more clearance above the TPI unit.

 

is that ronals on your ride? if so wanna sell?

This one is updated to fit a new hood, mount to the brake master and will locate and tie into some new custom strut mounts for more accurate camber changes at the track.

strut mounts look similar to the hotpart ones, but seem to be taller? did you make them too, or am I totally wrong?

and couldnt help but notice the overflow and washer fluid canisters. The coolant one looks like a canton, unless you again, made it, but what about the matching washer reservoir? Thats something i've been waiting for somebody to come out with, or is it just painted

Jerry can you speak to the improvement this has been over no strut bracing at all? I've been going to do something like this but I'm having clearance problems getting a bar to go over my super ram under my stock IROC hood. If this is worth it I'll put the time in to come up with a solution.....

 

The strut mounts on the car right now are from Hotpart. The new ones are still on the mill and will interlock with the strut tower brace.


You don't miss a thing. The coolant tank is a copy of the Canton part and when i made the pattern for it I made one for a washer tank. Both are all aluminum and at first I had them polished, but it was to much bling for me so i had them black powder coated.
