15x10 w/ 5-1/2" backspacing fit rear?

...on my '91 Z28 w/ Discs? I've found a good deal on a pair of Weld Draglites & want to run 275/50/15's? Any feedback greatly appreciated!

They'll fit the older rear disk brakes. I don't know about the larger rotors and PBR calipers.

My rims are within 1/2" of the park brake cable bracket.

Will this be the case w/ all 15" rims or just that wide?...should I stick w/ a 15 x 8 or go the 16 x 8?

Would the wheels above fit under the car or stick out partially?

Depends on the backspacing.

The rims fit fine but will depend on the tire size on if they'll stick out or not. My 28x9 slicks fit under the fenders. The 9" is the tread width not the tire section.

I asked this question last week (do a search) and found that yes 15" rims will fit over the stock 89-92 rear discs. But I also found out that there arent any 15x10" rims that will fit correctly in the wheel well, unless you get them custom made. 15x8" is the largest generic wheel made that will fit.

I run 15x10 with 5.5" backspacing, fit no problem.
