Re: Complete overhaul somewhat

The best advice I could give would be to get some good repair manuals, including a factory one from ebay or where ever. Chilton's, even Haynes. You can never have enough information, even from TGO.

Re: Complete overhaul somewhat

I plan on doing the same thing this winter. All new suspension, brakes, bushings and a t56 swap. Good luck man.

What information are you looking for? What is your plan for the car? Whats your budget? We need more information before we can help.

As james said, check the stickies and use the search. I'm sure you will figure out 90% of what you need to know. Then come ask specific questions if you still have some.

Re: Complete overhaul somewhat

well i plan on dropping the front sub frame an pulling the motor an trans out gonna do all new bushings an maybe some new front suspensions lca, sway bar, etc for the rear i plan on putting in new torque arm adjustable one, panhard bar, trailing arms, i would also like to do the termic 5 speed since its cheaper an will still be a good trans for cruising on the highway better then the 700r4 at least also new floor pans an trunk well, also a nice set of weld in sub frame connectors. i wanna do all this in a budget of 3 grand an in a time frame of at least 2 years i think it could be done quicker but ive learned that lesson not to rush a project
