A arm, knuckle an spring removal

Ok so I'm taking the following out to get new moog ball joints in is it easier to remove it all at once or should I separate it an remove it that way I already got the sPring compressed an locked down on the a arm so all I should have to do is just remove the two strut bolts an the a arm bolts an I should be alright I think or am I missing something else

The way I have done it in the past is to place a jack under the a-arm and jack it up enough so it just starts to lift the arm. Chain or secure the spring to the arm. Unbolt endlinks, tie rod, strut, pop spindle off ball joint, slowly lower jack to drop a-arm then remove the spring. You can then take out the two bolts at the k-member holding the a-arm and you can get it out.

I agree.....I chained mine up in case they flew out. Good luck with the arm bolts. I had to use a map gas torch to heat those buggers up even with a good impact wrench

Yea I'm having that problem as we speak I got the nuts off of the bolt now the bolts don't wanna come out of the a arm mounting point I don't have a torch of any kind so I'm just gonna cut the bolts out with my reciprocating saw, an replace them wIth new stainless steel bolts an put a lot of grease when I reinstall it with the new moog springs an ball joints an energy suspension isolators.
