When your new shocks leak after 800 miles? I certainly do.

Re: Don't you just love it?

Likely damaged before or during installation.

Too many of them after 180,000 miles that dont leak.

Not to mention that lifetime warranty you should be hating right now.

I treated them very gingerly prior to installation. I'm just venting, it's probably a one in a million defect, no manufacturer can make a 100% defect free product 100% of the time.

Re: Don't you just love it?

I emailed the distributor, I'm hoping they back to me soon, I don't really want to drive around with this busted shock for a month.

I'm sure it will, problem is that they are going to ask him to send the shock to them, leaving him without a shock on the vehicle...

Re: Don't you just love it?

I'll admit I had a brand new Koni yellow leak on me once. I sent it back in and they fixed it for free. Still working perfectly 4 years later. I've got Koni's on my GTA too and they are perfect.

It happens. I'd guess Bilstein will take care of him...

Re: Don't you just love it?

They did. They promptly replaced the shock and I'm up and running again.
