steering box frame crack issue fixed on 86 Berlinetta
Hello, I just read probably100 posts about the frame cracking at the steering box and then I read that the 86 Berlinetta had reinforced frame rails to fix this problem. Did this actually fix the problem? No need for a wonderbar? Was this just on the 86 Berlinetta (the last year for it) and no other models after? What are the reinforcement exactly and are they visible?

Wut? You might want to paste a link to whatever you're talking about. Why would only the 86 Berlinetta have a reinforced frame when a Berlinetta with 14" wheels and narrow tires would least need it? Not sure what you were reading, because you didn't link it, or cut and paste it or anything, but it fails the basic sniff test and logical reasoning, which would lead one to conclude that someone didn't know what they were talking about, or you misunderstood what they were trying to say.

Later years they added some additional bracing, but even then, the wonderbar is the way to go.
