Under car noise
My car makes a jingling noise when I hit bumps and such on the road. Sounds like a metal strip would sound like if you bang it around. It happens anytime the car shakes. It is really starting to annoy me. Any ideas
Most rattles like this end up being something with the exhaust system. Give your drivers side tail pipe a little taste of boot. A relitively firm kick and see if you hear it rattle. One thing tat rattles a lot on these cars on the exhaust is this band that supports th AIR line near the converter. Also check the heat shield bolted to the undercarrage above the converter.

I will try that out. I wouldn't of thought of the exhaust making a high pitch jingling noise but maybe it is. It's going to be replaced anyway. I will check it out. Thanks for the advice.

Trans87,
You could also check the cat itself. This would cause more of a rattle than a jingle. When the ceramics broke inside of my cat it was very noisy. If this is the problem when you can tap on the cat it will rattle like rocks in a can.
For what it's worth bro. Good luck.

Well I hit the exhaust and shook the cat and it's not those that is making the noise. I think it's something in the suspension. Any ideas

It sounds like it is directly underneath the car near the middle. I tried to get a look but couldn't see anything that might be the cause.

I will check the sway bar that might be it. It is not the cat because I shook that pretty good and there was no noise coming out of that at all. I wish it was because that is all going to be changed in a month after I get a new set of Comp T/A tires. Since the tires are worn out especially the back ones
