I'd like to run some Falkin 255's on the front of my RS. These tires have an 11" tread width. Will I run into problems on the stock 16x8 RS rims? The 245's I have now have a 9.5" tread width. These tires are really good looking at a reasonable price. $107.00 per tire m/b, plus tax of course. If problems will be inherent then I'll just run 245's on the front and 255's on the rear.

i,d like to know the same thing but my 90 rs came with 15 in. wheels, im running 245 50 16 off a 87 iroc. they rubb the sway bar just a little at full steer. id like to put the 255 on if i can

 

I run 255/50/16 Comp T/As all around with no problems.

 

what car do u have? did it come with 16in wheels stock.

89 GTA.Yes 16x8 wheels.

 

No problem!!I'm running 9x18" with 265/40x18"tires on the front of my TA and they only just rub when parking on full lock
