Ya planning on building 2 engines with it?
Or just having a spare?

I got 2 because it was a great deal. I'll probably sell the other one.

Hey, good luck with that... as soon as my unfortunate wait is over, I will be able to plan the installation of my LT1 cam. Unfortunately, still no word on it. Good luck on the swap.. I'm going to be asking you a bunch of questions about doing it though. I have read a lot of teh posts about it, but am still a little confused about the pin, or something like that that has to be cut, or whatever.:lala:

Yeah you'll have to put aside a lot of time for one of them.

yeah, the XV8 as I've heard it refered to. its supposed to have, what, maybe 325hp? Dual in block cams. Neat, but far to much computer ****, plus its like 4.8 liters or something... In case case, I'll pass....
neat though...

i like the fact that theres gonna be absolutely no performance parts on it for a while so when people say they got an xv8...nothing special. sounds cool though.

Nope, sorry, after much thought, I can't think of what w00t would mean.
I don't imagine it's an abbreviation, and I've tried sounding it out!
Help me!

"double-u double-oh tee?"
"Woot?"

OK Tas, time to fess up.
You didn't mean to type "w00t.", and it's a typo. That's my new theory.
If I'm wrong, feel free to tell me what it really means.

That was anti-climactic. Or is it NT-climactic?
I'll have to brush up on my geek-speak.

As for the cam, I'd recommend running the part numbers on a GM site, and picking the one with the most lift. Keep in mind that LT1 cam's lifts differ year to year. I got a 93, which is the smallest.
