wont work unless you have a carb intake with a TBI adapter. If you have that then yeah it would work. You can buy TBI spacers about anywhere. Usually run about 60-70 bucks for a little piece of plastic tho. If your running the stock air cleaner you wont have any clearance problems but i know i couldnt fit on underneath my hood with the edelbrock TBI intake and 3'' k&n open element.

so a can get a TBI spacer.

I have stock hood, air cleaner and manifold.

Will it add anything, My car only has about 65,000 miles on it and works great and I dont really want to rip it apart if it still works, to add power.

you could if you want to. doubt it will help much for you yet. Did somebody pound that phras "if it isnt broke dont fix it" into your head?? mod mod mod comon youve only got 65k i say modify while you can. Since i started modding mine ive got better MPG, its faster, and more reliable. Please Please go and get a tranny cooler while you have low miles. It will save your tranny plus I think it made my shift so much better. I will from this day on have a tranny cooler in ever car i own

what i'm thinking is just wait until the engine goes bad then get a 350 TPI for LSI engine. Or just by a 4th gen SS when I get older and insurance doesn't bite my ***. I dont have a lot of money right now (I'm saving to buy a house and everytime I buy a car part my girfriend gives me evil looks).

So in closing, I'm not looking for a big exspensive overhaul, just some stuff I can buy here and there when I have money.

Any ideas on some "small" stuff I can buy here and there. I allready have K&N filter with custom made open air elemnent, posi, 3.23 gears.

I wouldn't waste your $$. They do make TBI spacers, Jegs or summit carries them (summit pg. 87 of most current listing)

As far as not modding...I felt like that once upon a time. I had a 100% bone stock all A/C delco replacement parts right down to the oil filter ride. It was kinda neat...but it was kinda slow...and kinda weak looking when I popped my hood. So I know how you feel.

You can do some mods that will improve your enjoyment of the car and help the engine breathe. An open element filter, fuel pressure increases, all new exhaust (headers to tips). That is a good start. The engine will breathe easier and sound somewhere around 200% better. The higher FP will be there when you put your foot in it to make sure you don't go lean. You will get better gas mileage and enjoy the car more.

YOUR NEW SLOGAN: If it ain't broke...make it go faster

Ill get some pics of my engine soon it looks so much better than stock. Starting to look pretty primitive

check out the tech articles. It tells you how to convert you fuel pressure reg to make it adjustable. You dont need it yet so dont worry about it. I think its about time for me to do it tho. exhaust, open element, intake...i think its time.

Id go with the edelbrock TES headers with the 3'' y pipe, a high flow 3'' y pipe (or not), and a 3'' hooker catback. you should be able to do all that yourself.

I'm not a big fan of doing exhaust work yourself...it just ain't fun. Exhaust is in my sig...

I paid $400 for the random tech cat, catback 3in flowmaster, and 4in tips. Headers are $350 if I remember then $30 to get the headers matched to the cat back. Sounds like alot but it was over time. Sounds great and makes much more power than factory.

no work is really fun to do its a matter of saving money. Plus I dont trust mechanics. Id rather do the work myself so i know exactly what has been done.
