Bogging Down
Thats the only way i know how to describe the sound and feeling in the motor when i go past a 1/4 throttle. She stumbles and makes some *** awful noise. She gets better when she warms up but it never goes away. I don't even know where to start with this problem. Any help would be great.

Sounds like you're running rich. It may be really bad when it's cold because the ecm is adding even more fuel to warm up your engine. Check your fuel pressure, and maybe your TPS. Also try checking your wires, plugs, and cap and rotor-ignaition has been a major source for many of my problems(burnt wires, mechanics not hooking wires back up after working on car).

check your cat
I had a cloged cat on my '98 S-10 and at part throttle the engine was fine but when I got past 1/3 throttle it just wouldn't rev worth a damm. Turns out the front ceramic block in the cat had rotated 90 deg and was all but blocking flow. now you can see right through my cat and it runs great(except for that pesky service encine light)

Well that seemed like a reasonable idea but i don't have cats. Just a couple of flows. I talked to a buddy and he thinks i need to fix the tranny before i do anything else. And i agree, it runs like crap. It leaks all over the place. timing and fuel pressure are going to b ewhat i look at after i rebuild the tranny. Any suggestions on what type of rebuild kit and shift kit i should use?

Get the whole 9 yards kit from Pro-built automatics. http://www.pro-built.net/ if you know a competent trans mechanic. Otherwise just get the trans from probuilt and you will be a happy camper.
