Edelbrock

I think the edelbrock performer seems to be the favorite
amoungst most of the L03 members. I am leaning towards it
myself.

Side note : Edelbrock estimates a 20TQ gain if you use their
entire power package.

http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/3701graph.html

(Unfortunately, the graph doesn't show HP gains)

So what you are telling me is that the "power package" results are in fact almost 100% a result of the Mnifold swap. (I like those numbers)

the cam that comes in the power package is better than our cam, but it is not a roller cam, the power package is made for trucks that have flat tappet camshafts.

The power package comes with heads too.

Why not get a carb manifold?

I'm still trying to see where that gives me an advantage.
Do Carb manifolds have more volume ? I think I can locate
one with EGR privisions.

I installed that intake on my 305 TBI and I didn't notice much difference at all really. I noticed more up top but I didnt know much from idle to 4k above 4k it did make a difference tho.
