Wassup w/ these TBI's

Hey guys I picked up a couple of TBI's from local salvage yard REAL CHEAP and was wondering if anyone knew the story on 'em. The first pic is of a caddy TBI, it is kinda small but it has a weird IAC system, does anyone know how this thing works. I got 2 of them in case anyone ever figures out how to run dual TBI.

I also found this one. It came off a pontiac I think. What are those things in the throttle bores? They are kinda hard to see in this pic. They lokk like some kinda factory air flow enhancer of some sort. They look like a major flow restriction to me. Have you guys ever seen ant TBI's like this?

In my junkyard searching I've noticed that they put those "atomizer plates" in the bores of the older TBI systems. Mostly old caddy's, B-bodies and the like.

I think they put them there to atomize the fuel better at low rpm. I don't know they else they would be there, because like you said, it's a big restriction.

They couldnt think to put a spacer under the Injector pod. I think this was also to control the firehose like spray.

I don't know any specs- but Jegs has a 2X4 intake can't you run them on this intake with the Holly adapter plate?

Just an idea??

oh yea that would be the easy part, but getting the electrical part right is the real mother.
