Anyone made your own throttle bodies?
Has anyone tried this? Are there any obvious reasons not to that I havent' seen?
What are the sensors mounted to it? Are they neccessary? Is there a specific way/place they would have to mounted in the new throttle body?

There is a reason for everything, and most of it has to do with function, the rest is for ease of mass production. If you follow the factory setup closely you shouldn't have a problem.
