Just got back from the track
15.392 @ 88.32 MPH with a 2.234 60' was my best run today with mods in sig. Before the Ultimate TBI mods, tbichips Stage 1, ASP crank pulley, Richmond 3.73s and SLP take off posi my car ran a best 15.970 @ 82 MPH, so i gain about 6 MPH and took 6 tenths off my ET. Im sure if i shifted it manually i could get into the 15.2s easily because the gears are causing the tranny to shift to early out of 1st and 2nd (4000RPMs instead of about 4600). Hopefully with alittle fuel pressure tuning and timing i will be in the 15.1 range.

Reset your TV cable and maybe you can get it to shift a little higher. I was able to get mine to shift at 4800 rpm just by adjusting that cable. That is 4800 actual rpms my tach is about 700 rpms off by then. That is 4800 rpms by WINALDL data. I bought the B&M governor recalibration kit to set it exactly where I want after 350 swap.
what kind of tire pressures were you running? if you pump up the fronts a bit and lower teh rears when you are at teh track you can prolly get a little better 60ft and a large improvement in et. i usually ran 50-55psi in teh fronts and about 25-27 in teh rears. be careful lowering rear pressures with radial tires. the tread can start to cup and you actually end up losing contact patch.

I was running about 30PSI in the front and 26PSI in the rear. Ill try 50PSI in the front next time i go. Also I figured the TV cable needed to be adjusted so hopefully that will get me shifting past 4500RPMs. Im just hoping for 15.1s before the L05 swap i plan on doing this summer.
I want to use the WinALDL tool but my laptop does not have any 9 or 25 pin COM ports. Some people on the DIY PROM board said that i could use a USB to 9 Pin COM adapter, does anybody have experience with this or know if it will work. THANKS

I have a hard enough time keeping my WINALDL setup running with the proper port. Those cables can be touchy.

what were your sixty foots? I'm running the same mph as you, but apparently my 60's are bad
(2.3xx). I see you have a lot of suspension mods, while I'm still running peg leg 3.08's with drag radials. My best right now is 15.96 at 88.12 mph. Good luck with your car, the 14's are right there. Can I add your time to the registry? see sig

my best 60' time was only 2.224, this is a lot higher than i expected and i think it is due to the amount of tire pressure i was running in the front was way too long and the fact that my tranny if shifting into second gear about 500-600RPMs too early. The next day ill be able to go to the track is Jan. 20th, by then i hope to increase base timing by 2-4*, increase front tire pressure, adjust TV cable or shift manually, and maybe some fuel pressure tunning.
And yes, you can add my time to your registry.

I swapped out a 305 for a 350 and made no serious changes and the thing shifts at 5500rpm left in OD. Don't know why, just does
. Guess I will leave well enough alone.

went to the track again today, ran a 15.294 @ 88.44MPH with 2.184 60' , this time i manually shifted at 5000RPMs into second and accidentally shifted at 5500RPMs into third. I also advanced my timing from 2 to 6* and incrased my front tire pressure to 45PSI. Im still spinning off the line alittle and the fact that the relative humidity was 100 could have helped. So hopefully if i fix my traction issue and get better shifting, I will be in the 15.1x range.
