Need Help Fast!!!!

Well to make a long story short, after my vortec lt1 swap my car was running pretty bad. I got a chip in it now, but when I went to adjust my fuel pressure the orange gasket on the fpr leaked bad. So today I bought a tbi tune up kit and replaced the gaskets on the tbi. But overnight I guess fuel kept on leaking out even though the key was off. So I went to start it up it sounds like its flooded from fuel coming out overnight. There were puddles on the manifold.
So I pulled the fuel pump fuse and the fuel injector fuse and then cranked the motor a bunch to try and clear the fuel out. Finally it began cranking normally again. So I put the fuses back in and it cranked crappy again. Then I took the fuses back out and turned the key on and I hear the fuel pump whining in the back of the car, with NO fuel fuses how can this happen?

I'm guessing my plugs are probably fouled now too.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!

Well, I'm not sure what to tell ya other than maybe try replacing the gaskets again. Make sure it is dry and the surfaces are smooth. Check for other possible places it could be leaking from with detail. Take your time with the gaskets, I've had the same problem with the FPR after I've had it apart as well as the whole TBI. It must be sealed perfect or you'll run into problems.
I have no idea why you fuel pump is still getting a charge with the fuze out. Maybe a short or ground somewhere? It could possibly be why your engine is running kinda crappy. To keep the fuel from leaking onto your manifold, keep the pressure relieved by removing the gas tank cap. Best of luck

Well, I put in my other set of spark plugs cause the others were completly fouled. With the new plugs in it fired right up. I drove to the store and when I came back out it wouldn't start. It acted like the plugs were fouled again, even though when it was running it wasn't rich. So I pulled the inj. fuse and the fuel pump fuse and it started and then died. So then I put one of the fuses back in not sure which, it started and stumbled then i stuck in the other fuse and the rpms picked back up and it ran as close to normal as it's been.

The system will leak fuel if you leave the gas cap on and build vapor pressure in the tank. They will spill a LOT of gas in warmer weather. Been there.

I still have nightmares about my fuel filter install. Car wouldnt run when I went to change it because the pump was toast. Well I disconnected that line and it was like a siphon effect. I musted have spilled 4 gallons of gas all over myself. It even ran down my arms into my hair. Needless to say gasoline burns your scalp pretty good and skin after awhile.
