Anyone have blm readings before and after open element on a stock engine?

My stock housing + k&n made my car run rich after I put it back on for emissions, then when I put the open element back on it leaned it back out. I was curious if it happens with stock cars, too.

it might be possible that the stock housing was choking your engine, not allowing enough air for the fuel it was dumping in.

Yea, thats what I assumed, too. I was just trying to figure out how much the fuel pressure (roughly) would have to be raised on a stock engine to get optimal gains from the open element, and try to explain why somepeople run no faster or slower after the open element.
