A couple of questions about my LO3 buildup/
Hey guys I've got two questions that I need an answer to. First, for all of you that have switched to 416's, what did you do to make your temp. send. unit and fan switch work w/ the 416 heads. The threaded holes in the heads are bigger than the ones in my TBI heads. Second, can I run a standard double row timing chain on my roller LO3?

the heads shouldn't effect which timing chain you use.
make sure to get one for a factory roller block setup.
(hint: summit brand (i think it is a comp or cloyes chain) sells one for 40 bucks, it is double roller.

I knew the heads would'nt affect my timing chain
. I meant to say that I've heard from somewhere that you cant use a oldstyle timing chain (pre-roller) on a roller motor...I'm not sure if this is true so that is what I was asking. I've alredy got a double roller and was'nt sure.

I put a new double roller in mine about 6 months ago - no problems. I just picked it up at CarQuest - about $54 with gaskets.
I never thought about have different sized holes for switches in the 416's - ooops - LOL - I just got my 416's back from machine shop yesterday.

I bought this double row timing set from Summit. I think it was like $15. I dont think its a double roller just a double row. Any ideas?
