can someone tell me what the best choice of ignition set upsto use????? im not looking to go all out, i just want a new, higher performance and close to stock instalation ?? im just not sure what to do

 

I would go with an MSD box and coil with the harness.

 

Don't get Accell, I had two of their boxes and they both crapped out on me

Right now I'm running with the stock ignition w/ MSD components, soon I'm going to get an MSD 6A box though.

 

does msd make a module that fits under the cap??? and should i use the msd coil or the hypertech??

I'M RUNNING THE HOLLEY IGNITION WITH PLUG IN CONNECTIONS AND COIL AND ONLY PAID 150 BUCKS FROM JEGS AND HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS. THIS IGNITION IS ALSO DIGITAL UNLIKE THE ANCTIENT TECH THAT MSD USES ANOLOG. BUT ITS YOUR DECISSION CAR CRAFT DID A COMMPARISION OF THE TOP 5 IGNITIONS ION THE MARKET AND THEY SAID IT CAME DOWN TO THE NAME YOU LIKE BECAUSE THEY ALL PERFORMED THE SAME NONE OF THEM WERE A STAR ABOVE THE REST...

 

I'm running a MSD coil with otherwise stock ignition with good results. I recomend chip tuning in the timing area. Huge results even on a stock motor.

No I don't have a time yet.
