heads for a 305 TBI

I found a set of Heads on ebay that the guys says will work on my 92 305 TBI Camaro

On Ebay it says
350 rebuilt heads. Heads were hot tanked, magnafluxed and performance & pressure tested (no cracks). valve job, and surfaced 0.003". heads Should fit 1987 and up chevy 350 engines and later 305 chevy engines....Intake valve's 1.94" and exhaust valve's are 1.5"....Casting # on both heads are 14102193.

Figured I'd ask you guys here for an opinion price is $300.00

Bo

what size is the combustion chamber? If it's bigger then 58cc then it will lower your compression ratio.

It wont cause any problems just lower your compression ratio which will in turn make you engine lose power.

Transmission: fixed the 700r4 again!
maybe be more power but what really matters in your case is these heads are 64 cc and most vortec heads are that as well so your compression ratio will be very low with the 305 ... one option you have is to have the heads milled to between 58-60 cc's .. thus keeping your compression up and getting the full benifit of the netter flowing heads..

Most Vortecs actually measure out to 61cc so you might luck out and just be able to bolt them on. Get them measured.
