I have an Open Air Element and A 3" Hooker Cat Back system. My car is the 305 TBI and has the 3.08 Rear end so I don't want to change the rear end yet. What should I do next to boost some power????

Get headers and a hi-flow cat to complete your exhaust setup. Go with the stuff made for TPI cars so you get 3" all the way back and look into maybe Hooker 2055's for headers.

I agree, then gears, either 3.42 or 3.73.

HEADERS HEADERS HEADERS...
wow, you will **** yourself when you feel the difference... then... the TBI... do ultimate mods (which are free, if you got a rotor tool and about 1 hour of time), and get the 1/4 inch injector housing spacer ($15 on e-bay).... in combination with an open element cleaner.... you will feel a difference in throttle response, pull, AND get better mileage.. you could even get the TBI to manifold 1" spacer (for like $40 on ebay)... that is supposed to be guaranteed for like 15% torque 10% HP, and 10% mileage increase

the spacer in the jegs catalog IS the same... just made by a different brand... and the best headers for being emissions legal would probably be the EDELBROCK T.E.S. Headers... Hooker also makes a pair of legal headers...

Do a search on the exhaust board. The hooker 2055 emmisions legal headers with high flow y pipe are the best headers money can buy period!

Yeah definetly headers, on the iroc w/ a 305 tpi I used to have before I got the RS I have now , I slapped on those edelbrocke headers and deleted my cat, and when I went to the track that weekend I went from a 14.85-14.37 . Thats pretty bad *** for a bolt on.
