key is stuck to the on position (help)

I start my formula and I cannot turn it off.. I have to hold the brake and release the clutch in order to shut the motor down.
New ignition? How do I get into the steering column? Need help.

thanks, ken

Friend of mine had the same problem. The key would be a pain to get out. She would sit there for like 10 minutes before she could pry it out and she thought it was something big, but what it turned out to be was the key itself. It was worn down just enough that it would catch coming back from the on position. She couldn't find her keys so she used the spare and it just slipped right out. Funny how something so frustrating like this could be something so small. Hopefully it helps.
