Sticking throttle body

Anybody have problems with their throttle sticking on the TB? I've squirted WD-40 on the linkage but it still seems to stick, especially in the early morning when i go to work. Has anyone tackled this issue yet?

if the throttle sticks when you first try to press on the gas then thats usually a sign of excessive wear around the throttle shaft. You can get it rebushed if you want to since you said its a modified base from turbocity in another thread.

Is it difficult to have that done? Is that something I can tackle myself? Thanks.

youd have to ahve a machine shop do it unless you know how to do some basic machining and have access to the proper equipment.

I had this problem before.... I removed the metal that cover the screw (idle screw) to adjust the throttle blades. You will need a torx to turn it until it no longer stiks...
