maybe you can just answer me this..... the coil....it has one side that is kind of like a hook so you can slide it....does that part go on the side where the bracket mounts for the throttle cable and also does it really matter which way the distributor is turned....b/c I'm having trouble plugging all of the wires into everything

Yes, the hook side of the coil goes on top of the throttle cable bracket bolt or stud. I am not sure about turning the distributor, though.

It won't matter how you have your coil posistioned. It is just easier to put it back in the stock spot that has the two connectors facing the firewall. What else are you having trboule hookig up? There is two wires that go onto the dist and two on the coil. You can't mix and math them either and they only go in one spot.

i'm just having trouble with the wires reaching that module at the bottom of the distributor, why does swapping an engine have to be such a pain lol, I'm so close yet so far away b/c of all this little crap that turns into a problem.

Well its all part of the fun. You may have your wireing harness caught up on something. You should have plenty of room to reach the back of the dist.
