Part III, $500 TBI Build up...

well, iv just put my headers on, excepted one bolt on the passenger side fire wall "HARD"... iv done the FPR mod... now that i have headers i should move the fuel up to 15psi? what would be a good PSI to run? also will the EMC "computer" try to make it a different A/F
and what about the 02 sincer? well anything get messed up?
its kinda confusing...
and i busted one of the knock sencers on the passenger side, thats what it looks like
do i even need that? besides running a code, it wont mess anything else up?

The coil in that picture won't work. Who has those kind of parts laying around anyways. You will need an 02 sensor if that is what you were asking. You also most likely busted the fan switch on the passenger side head. Your fan will constantly run now. I would change it now while you have the coolant drained. It is a $10 part. So what is part III? What exactly was part's I and II besides an education on parts selection

You asked about the 02 but I am not sure what you want to know about it. A stock one will be fine unless it is not working properly. You have me confused on that. You can adjust the PSI all you want but the real key to changing the fuel is in the chip. The pressure regulator is not or less a band aid. however, it does have its advantages. It is trial and error since the regulators have no means of calculating your adjustments.

Check out the DIY PROM board for that. It allows you to make changes on the fly without removing the chip to erase it.

Well it depends on a lot of factors. How patient you are, finantial situation etc etc. I think it is worthwile but it is up to you to decide based on your research. There are a few ways to go when chip burning and you can use old and new stuff. Some people prefer the old some the new.

Did i miss something? Why didnt u address this, shifty?
I think u should replace it. If you are getting any kind of knock, that think saves your engine. Knock counts are a valuable thing to look at once u get started tuning and playing around with timing...

Edit: okay, i didnt realize how old this thread was, but it still applies.

Yea I did miss it. cali is right though. Firgue out exactly what you busted. You said you busted it on the passenger side. Was it in the block or in the head? If it is in the head that is your fan switch.
