So i pulled the codes and I get a code 32 I got the EGR from the dealership and the silnoid from autozone.. What could be causing the to happen? Do you think my Passages are cloged up? do you have a negative or positive backpressure valve on there right now, and what was your original one (if you still have it). You can check by looking at the top of the valve, there should be an N or P on there.

I assume you tested the valve with the car running by pressing the diaphragm and hearing the car bog down. the passages aren't blocked. your dealer more than likely gave you the correct parts. Since you wouldn't be able to depress the valve in a positive EGR (i believe). I too have this recurring EGR problem. Most seem to have agreed it's prnobably a vacuum leak (not in the lines but on the block somewhere), confusing the sensors that check to see the pressure change of egr being open.

Well i checked the EGR with the car on and it didnt really do much. No changed in the motor really. Does this mean that the passages are blocked?

well yea, if you pressed in the valve with the car running, you should have definitely heard a change in engine noise. If you did not, spray some 2+2 in the passages when the engine cools down. really get that crap cleaned ...wait until it dries and fire it up again. if that dont do the trick, you may need to run a pipe cleaner through the manifold (after taking it off) but that's just me guessing. I've never had to clean the egr passages before. Mine are clean, I still get the light, so that's never been my problem.

you can block it off ...though it appears that is the problem since depressing it did nothing to the engine. Disabling the programming is only really good if you have a big cam that does EGR on it's own, otherwise you should probably clean the passages so it allows exhaust flow through the EGR.
