TBI cap, rotor, plug and wires
I just bought a new set of those for my 91 RS. the cap and rotor are accel, the plug are bosch platinum and the wires are msd blues. my bro say that those are good for something like 10-15 hp.... i dont beleive him (at least not that much hp)... how true are his words? will this affect 1/4 ets? will it affect hp and tq ratings? thanks in advance

I have to agree. Unless the plugs, wires, cap and rotor already in your car are in bad shape or worn, I can't see really being able to feel a difference.
Just a tip, I'd watch those Bosch platinums for a while, I've seen quite a few people complain about platinum plugs fouling out after about a month of use in these cars. I'm not sure what it is that causes this, but I have just seen a lot of people go back to running regular AC Delcos.

i hate bosch!..... had their plugs in my car when i first got it when it was mostly stock... they were brandnew and fouled in about 3 weeks.... switched to autolite and didnt have that problem much anymore.... thinkin about tryin the new C3's though... anyone have any input on them?

The only reason you might pick up some time is because of improved throttle response. (that was the best benefit of mine anyways).
I concur with the others on here, the platinums are a waste of money. If you still have your reciept, go get your $30 back and buy some AC Delco's.

The only thing you will see is maybe a few more mpg at the pump. I would return the Bosche plugs and get a set of plain jain AC delco's. I had two sets back to back of Bosche plugs that fouled out in less than 2k miles.

10 - 15 wow. I have never heard that before. I would say that you will feel a definite difference if they haven't been changed in awhile. I once had burned three plug wires on my headers and it was missing so bad, but I drove it anyways cause I was pore and in college. Once I changed though man it was like new car.

Why do I always here that about bosch? Are they really that bad? I use a bosch O2 sensor and have had nothing but good luck. Just wondering if everybody just hears and repeats or if everybody saying don't use bosch really had problems with them.

Yeah that is cool. I have always heard that on this board from people. I must have you just gotten lucky. Next time I go to replace it I will not fair on the side of luck though. Thanks for the advice.
